Rising Hope Farm ended year five as a recipient of an Award of Honor for Exceptional Service to Persons with Disabilities from the North Attleboro Commission on Disabilities as well as Recognition from the Massachusetts House of Representatives presented by State Representative Elizabeth Poirier.
We are excited to roll into year six with our latest music video: a fun-filled RHF production. We undoubtedly have the best team of volunteers, program families and barn family supporters! Hope you enjoy the video.
Special thanks to David Lee Murphy and Kenny Chesney for their inspirational song, Everything's Gonna Be Alright!
Our Mission:
The Farm project concept was developed in 2012. Based on a core set of beliefs and built within the framework of *Universal Design, Rising Hope Farm’s mission is to foster genuine inclusion, validation, and skill development for a population that varies along a wide range of individual, cultural, and socioeconomic “variability” and accessibility needs. Our equestrian program is offered to children with and without challenges and has run consistently since July 2013.
For 2017-18 we offer:
Currently we offer year round equine encounters, pony rides, traditional English riding lessons and modified instruction/lead line lessons. We have expanded our lead line work to include equine assisted learning in the areas of communication including sign language, literacy, math, balance and coordination, confidence building, mindfulness and relaxation. We also offer a summer program.
